From Pickup to Tactical Complex: Near-Last-Mile Transport

In classical logistics, the “last mile” is the final segment of delivery from a distribution center to the end recipient. In a military context the concept takes on a literal and critical meaning: the route between a rear-area warehouse or stabilization point and the front line. On this stretch a vehicle ceases to be a means of transportation and becomes a tactical complex with clear engineering requirements.

Since 2022 Ukraine has faced a massive challenge: the need for specialized transport for casualty evacuation, unit command and control, and unmanned systems logistics has grown by tens of times. As a result, an entire niche of deep conversion of civilian and commercial vehicles has emerged.
